The worrying thing about that statement is it reveals the coccooned world of the pro footballer.
They 'think' they are playing well, and when the crowd start getting on to them , ala Carlisle, they believe it is totally unreasonable and stick 2 fingers up at us.
In order to keep their fragile confidence up, the management team tell them they are playing well, but maybe just a little tweak here and there would help.
The gap between perception and reality is enormous at the moment, although we did hear some encouraging words from Larry after the Bournemouth debacle.
I don't know about you, but I like to call a spade a spade, and if someone isn't working hard enough then he should be told straight, then sent up onto moors as a reminder of what he should feel like after a game ie totally knacked !
All this mollycoddling is pathetic, if players get upset by being told they were poor, tough !
Brian Clough had the right idea, let them know who is boss, don't let them think for themselves and brow beat them into submission..
I wonder if Jack said after the game ', hey lads, do you know what, you were all total garbage...'
Anyway, good for him for tweeting it, I like honesty , it's so refreshing...not sure he'll make many friends in the team if he continues mind..
Whip cracker way, whip cracker way , whip cracker way...
BOOT camp for the 4 king lot of 'em after the season ends,
ProMo or not.
And maybe some voluntary work thrown in too.
Reality check in the pay check 'n' all.
While they're at the JK Boot camp....<Musicalnote> "oow they're all the same One hand lovers" ( ) for a fortnight, make 'em live of a minimum wage
Talk about 'Shock Doctrine'
Jacko..
LV & mi sen were talking about Cloughie & Keane when he was at Forest as a youngster...
Look it up !

Re LV69's comment about Hunt's quote:
"I became a fan for two games and to be honest I found it hard! Now I know why the fans get frustrated, because you know what the lads can do and they just didn't do it. The important thing now is to put it right."
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The important thing now to put right is for this over inflated ego who masquerades as a defender to learn how to defend.
Hunt has certain qualities but it seems that defending isn't one of them.
I am from a generation who saw Bob McNab and Denis Atkins and then later Geoff Hutt.
They were thorough professionals.
Each one of those knew how to tackle.
I don't think that Hunt is fit to lace their boots.
I am done with Hunt. I have thoroughly lost patience with him and the rest of the shower.
Learn how to defend or adopt a new position.
Grayson. Sort him out.
