But you were delighted with Claude Davies so really your still in Debit.
Adam LeFondre, id say he's silenced any doubters.
Claude Davis you mean?
No I wasn't! Ode 50 pence head. You back-up that libel with evidence or else! Ha
Pathetic article TBR you are a
Awww sweetcheeks. Bless you!
I suggested le fondre would be worth a punt at the start of the season........
And people agreed. Nobody thought Vaz Té would come good!
Strikers can all have their days in the sun. Remember Baiano scoring 8 in his first 10 games and then about 7 in the next 50. Thought he was a great player though.
Still wouldn't want le Fondre as had been told by a mate who supports Chesterfield and seen him several times for Rotherham that most of the time you never know he's on the pitch. Reading just use him as a late sub. Ok when the spaces appear at the end of the game.
Vaz te again is a Theo type player, can't depend on him scoring although sometimes he might hit a hat trick. Would not want to gamble big money on him.
There is a distinct shortage of quality up front in nearly all teams, especially the national team. Apart from Rooney the names mentioned for second striker, Holt, Zamorra, Carroll etc are really just championship standard.
That's not strictly true is it? Defoe, Crouch, Sturridge, Welbeck, and begrudgingly Bent, though I personally wouldn't pay him in washers.
As for Vaz Té, he wouldn't have cost us big money. Hibernian released him, and he signed at Barnsley who, let's be honest won't have been paying him ten-grand a week.
Anyway, it's gone. Let's just hope we unearth a couple of gems this summer. Get the ball rolling early and not leaving it until deadline day where once again we're rumoured to be interested in Waghorn (played loads this season hasn't he? Not!) and Eustace...
Yawn!!!
Another valuable addition from a Forest fan. Thanks x
