Bacefook (My pet name for it) is the root of all evil IMHO, not a member never will be, it's not the be all and end all like everyone thinks it is. Both at work or where im from all you hear is "shuda seen what he put on facebook yeh...", "he said this on facebook" "he said that on facebook" facebook this facebook that...bladhy blahdy blah!!! Sorry but JOC & facebook are my pet hates im afraid to say, everyone has them

Nope... just a household 'pet name' we have for it as it all seems to be about who prodded who behind so and so's back, all sad if you ask me, no wonder theres so many broken families out there, esp since facebook came into existence.

I work in a school and Facebook is quite a problem, kids bullying etc and being on their phones in lessons.

Personally speaking I hate it. I don't care that my Mrs mate - who she never met has baked muffins for her darling little boy and that my wife felt the need to comment. WHY DID I RECIEVE NOTIFICATION IN MY EMAIL ABOUT THIS? BACEFOOK INDEED!

I blame it for social Breakdown in our world. The world would be such a happier place without it, seriously!

Seriously, there are kids out there whose lives are ruined by "Bacefook" that are being bullied with death threats et al, I hear of a few cases where kids have taken their own lives because of this or that have been groomed by nonces ect. Why the hell cannot there be Moderators like they did on 606 who can assess whats approprate and whats not, assess pics ect if they must have Bacefook in existence!!!

Mighty Milan, moderators is a nice idea but in reality it is all about free speech, especially over here in the States. People are at liberty to say whatever they want!!

Besides they would probably employ the out of work BBC moderators and then we wouldn't be able to say the word c^%p!! Oh well, they got a job on here!!

The fun will happen in about 30 years when part of a Presidential candidates bio will include stuff from Facebook! Investigative journalists will have a field day with what candidates said on Facebook when they were 15!!!!

Suffering, not heard about that one but to be fair kids have been killing themselves for decades over bullying, whether it is verbal, physical or hyperspace!! A few years ago they were killing themsleves because of suggestive song lyrics or violent video games. Whatever the in thing is, that is what will get blamed when kids commit suicide.
