Rob Tanner of the Mercury has stated that Routledge is a "No No" so we can forget him....
Just hope another team doesn't hijack our Mills effort.
I wouldnt say its animosity. People ( me included ) are just baffled why he turned down Norwich, QPR, West Ham and ourselves for Brighton. I dont thinkg they will be fighting relegation, but I will be amazed if they finish in the top half next season. Personally I think we will have too many strikers next season so I wish him all the best with the Seagulls.
I heard you bid £3m, Brighton must have bid the same?
Brighton bid 2.5mil rising to 3.
Gus poyet wants to build his team around CMS which is why he's gone there. Lack of ambition - wants to be star of a lesser team.

Exactly what I was thinking. While I dont think Brighton will be fighting relegation I doubt they'll be top 6 contenders for a couple of years. Like cantle said - wants to be star of a lesser team.
Maybe he feels like there could be too much pressure on him if he comes to us, WH, WPR or NC
The Jury was well and truly out for a lot of LCFC fans on this signing of CMS, however strangely in my opinion some were excited at the thought.
I wasn't !
We can do better...... SGE wouldn't have guaranteed 1st team,I feel CMS was to be one of several strikers so didn't fancy rotation. Sven probably told him who we were in for and he felt threatened.
As I said I think we can and will recruit better.
2.5 million rising to 3.25 million
I honestly think he was going to be there first striker and he said he was building the team around him,as with the other teams he probably wouldnt have been first striker maybe im wrong.
Personally i think with that sum of money i would want someone proven at this level, not that i think he isnt any good but would rather pay 4 million and get someone who has already proved himself in this league.
To be honest i thought 3 mill was a bit steep
That just my opinion '
