So people hate it when "super cena" wins all the time but hate it when he loses?!

I will be watching this tonight!

Does anyone klnow about Brocks contract?

As far as i know it is only 1 year and he only has to appear at 2 shows per month as well as 4 PPVs .

Is this correct?

That completely misses the point.

Goldberg never lost, but he was popular. Cena's invincability isn't a problem, his underdog complex blending with that lebel is a problem.

Imagine Barcelona's players doing their press conferences this week speaking of how we're a fantastic team, that we'll be a massive challenge but they list various other massive challenges overcome before declaring they'll never back down to anyone.

Wouldn't it seem just abit strange? It would come across as the weirdest, most counter productive mind game ever. That's Cena's character right now, a confused mess.

lol it would be a little strange yes!

My problem with Cena is that he will in every match get a good beating down and then does his 4 moves and wins.
I dont think i have EVER seen Cena dominate a match.
His gimmick is so stale now.

As you say it is very confused... how can you be an underdog yet win almost every match?!

The time the underdog thing annoyed me most was when he was introduced by that rapper at WM28 as he was coming down the ramp as tonights underdog.
Yes the younger, fitter, full time wrestler is the underdog

God, that rapper made me cringe

An underdog is someone who performs in front of over 70k people for a living, an underdog is someone who lives the high life, abandons his underground roots to mainstream his passion, someone who gets payed to do what he loves

All in all quite a good RAW. I enjoyed the Punk/Jericho section on the monitor whilst Punk was in the ring as well as the Cena segment. Watching Brock start to wind me up a bit to be honest.

Really pleased to see Brodus Clay starting to take on bigger fish and becoming a credible force despite the gimmick.

The problem with cena he can't sell and has zero ring psychology.

Pretty decent raw. Loving the jericho/punk feud and has got meaning/storyline in it.

Tensai will be a wwe champion by the end of the year.

Brocks interview was quality,loved it.

Just seen Lesnar's exclusive. Fantastic. 100% truth. His feelings towards the fans, his mistakes, his regrets, etc... irrevlant. He's a salvation. End of.

Haven't watched WWE for years, but to hear Brock's back makes me want to watch it again!

I was a Jerichoholic!!

Torres - Camacho claiming the WWE title is possible. It doesn't mean he will though. I just can't see Tensai winning anything higher than the IC - which would be interesting given that it's currently with Big Show.

Prince albert isnt up to the title, he would be dull. Saying this punk needs to lose it soon before he gets stale

Sir Digby agrees

I don't think he will either, but this is still WWE in 2012, you can't rule it out as impossible. Especially since i'm getting a very strong Jamal/Umaga-esque vibe from Albert atm, dunno whether it's the constant screaming, the cultural stereotype or what - but they pushed that gimmick to the stars.

@Sir Digby, if Punk is to remain credible as WWE champion, they have to do everything in their power to distance him from Lesnar. The ONLY card in their stack that gives Punk a chance is reverencing Guerrero beating him, but even that's shady because Punk hasn't been built as a crafty champion, his smash mouth Stone Cold comparisons won't help him in that confrontation. One of them needs to join SD.

Would it not be more credible to Punk to just let him go over Lesnar?

comment by Devil (U6522)

They could, and it would be typical WWE if they did, but with all due respect to Punk, it's not believeable.

They've built up Punk as a fighter rather than a manipulator, so that leaves him very little to use in a fight against a man mountain like Brock Lesnar at the peak of his abilities. The size difference is just too much.

But the beauty of wrestling is it's fictional aspect can sweep these things under the rug. They don't have to ever cross paths without it being obvious, and with both in the main event picture the simpliest way to do that would be sending one to SD.

I'm willing to put money on Tensai holding the wwe tilted by the end of the year.

I hated the RAW, all the over the top london gimmicks, half hearted fights in which it looked overly fake. The crowd wasnt great either, a lot of noise but just said the same things over and over again. Even Arsenal have more chants in their repertoire.

I dunno. King failing to realise Chelsea was based in London and WWE failing to recognise Spurs as big enough to parody was pretty damn funny
