not606 is much better. You should go back
One wonders if Neil would have become champion had there been a different level of competition.
We will never know......

I consider it an honour when I've achieved something in life and not held onto the coat tails of others for their achievements. You dod nothing to help Neil or put Rangers into their current predicament. Bring up a child, get promotion at work, gain a degree, do charitable work - all much more honourable than living when Neil is around.

Avenger.
He has to start somewhere.
I think those hurdles you've set are far too high for John just now.
Lennon has won the league this year Il give him that, but the same time we have lost the treble to very very poor performances
It was the easiest ever treble up for grabs and Lenny couldn't even manage a double.
Jinky - I hope you've forgiven me for my rash comment last night

I won't disagree with you no disrepect to Killie or Hearts but with the depth of our team we should have been up for both games, but far from it.
Like I said he won the league so at the moment he still has my suport, but lets see ehat happens with the SFA and the start of the season.
The Crusing
Like I said last night mate your a decent poster and take no offence as I know sometimes on here it can get a bit heated

Rangers knocked out of the CIS Cup at the first attempt to Falkirk - A side in the 1st division who couldn't even gain promotion.
Rangers knocked out of the Scottish Cup 2-0 at home to Dundee United - A side 14 points and 4 places below you in the league table, 24 points if we don't take your corruption and deserved administration into account.
Thoughts?

My thoughts are.....
I thought this article was an honourable mention to Neil Lennon.
Celtic were unimpeded by Rangers in every domestic competition and could only pick up 1 of the trophies. That is borderline failure to me.
Had Rangers competed with the players celtic have and not collected a double......... I would be asking serious questions about the managers ability. Thats before we consider his conduct.
It is no secret that Rangers season is one to forget for many reasons but should you wish to debate that you should create an article to do so. Although, just about every celt on 606 already has so you needn't bother.

I assume you also think McCoist is a fantastic manager who, despite blowing a 15 point lead and turning it into a 4 point deficit pre-administration, is the very man to bring you domestic domination?
You assume wrong.
I have not made up my mind.
McCoist has had one season in charge without any resources, players leaving and a small, aging squad.
If McCoist had what lenny had to play with, i'd be extremely disappointed.
However, it seems lennon isn't judged on his ability at celtic. He's more or less let the celts down last season and the current season. He is only loved for political, religious and behavioural reasons.
If you want to talk about McCoist why don't you create a thread?
Although I realise it is your method of deflecting from the reality that Lennon has let you down.

Rangers summer signings 2011/2012:
Lee Wallace £1.5million
Dorin Goian £0.8million
Juan Ortiz £0.5million
Carlos Bocanegra £0.5million
Alejandro Bedoya £0.4million
Matt McKay £0.3million
Kyle Bartley Loan
= 7 players in for £4.0million
Celtic summer signings 2011/2012:
Mohamed Bangura £2.0million
Victor Wanyama £0.9million
Adam Matthews Free
Kelvin Wilson Free
Fraser Forster Loan
Badr El Kaddouri Loan
= 6 players in for £2.9million
p.s Neil Lennon hasn't let me down at all. We are champions and will possibly win it by 22-25 points. Great potential for our squad, while your club is about to be liquidated. Happy days
Again, perhaps you should create a thread if you wish to compare Ally and Lenny. However, its already been done to the death.
Additionally, I see you've excluded 3 other transfer windows Lennon has been in charge.
In relation to the point of the thread, I used to go to watch Neil Lennon on a regular basis. It was not an honour at all. He was a distinctly average player with little or no entertainment value. He gave his all, can't fault him there but it never was or is an honour to see Neil Lennon in anyway.
Anywho, back to work.

We'll agree to disagree, I think Neil Lennon was a very good player.

As I recall we booed him on one occasion in a European match because there was too many passes from the defence, to Neil and back again etc.
I wouldn't quite compare that to 12 years of hatred, discrimination, death threats, physical assaults, demonisation, bombs sent in the post etc but each to their own.
