if i was a manager, i wouldn't want to go to chelsea. abramovich meddles in transfers and probably in team selection. added to that, one bad season and you're out.

whoever takes over, i wish them luck; it can't be esay working for abramovich!

Chelsea are seriously useless and tactically very poor so Van Basten would be a great choice...

And 2nd place is considered a bad season!!!

To be fair, Roman has spent a whole lot of his own money and has a right to want success. However, it just doesn't work that way in the real world. Spending more doesn't mean a player will be better. To some degree it does but eventually a player is only so good and you're just paying extra for name, hype and mercy sales.

I need to win a super lotto

dont think manager would care about the eventual chop, it's a prestigious position in the sport, and opportunities will continue afterwards.. grant's been given other managerial jobs, and Carlo will definitely be at another club.. Will take a special manager to reclaim past glory though

in fairness old Carlo wasn't a bad manager Chelsea just can't take getting beat sacking the manager is a tad harsh,I hope Chelsea go many years like Arsenal without winning a trophy.

Look, there have always been clubs who can out spend other clubs. Its been football since the beginning. The wealthiest clubs bought the best players and usually had the most success. To dislike a club because of this is.crazy.

It is unfair but that comes down to the setup of the league and business. Unless they change the rules, and not just fair play rules, but salary caps and such it will never change.

Im all for it as well. That way if and when we win a competition it would feel that much better.

People acting as if money didn't play into effect in the game until Abramovich came around are kidding themselves. He's just a new cowboy in town.

Im sure if a send a supporter or two to hang outside of the bridge a few quid might be thrown out the window. Seems to be common round there.

Martin O'Neill would be a great manager for Chelsea but since I love MON and dislike Chelsea,it would be strange ha
