I wouldn't be too disappointed if that happened.

He's nothing like Chamakh.
I wouldn't be too disappointed if RVP goes and we sign Podokski AND Giroud.
Kamran- I hope you're faith in him isn't misplaced because he will be our main man next year.
He's actually quite similar to RVP. He's not as good technically (he still has great technical ability though), but he's a bigger threat in the air and he'll cause defences that sit deep more problems than RVP.
He's perfect for the Premier League.
He's like a left-footed Ibrahimovic in many ways. His left foot is unbelievable. Plus he's an overhead kick specialist.
Chamakh's record for Bordeaux was poor, 56 goals in 230 games

Exactly, look at Giroud's record for Montpellier. 31 goals in 61 matches.
Seen him play a couple of times, depending on his value he'd be a great signing.
If we sell RVP then we better get someone like Belhanda, Eriksen or Hernanes along with Giroud.
I reckon we could snap him up for around 14M.
14 mill would be excellent value, i'd heard some rumours that they wanted 30+ mill though.
Why do people keep comparing Giroud to Chamakh?
Giroud is awful. Don't listen to Kamran. He's awful with the ball in his feet.
I think Giroud would suit playing for mid-table clubs like; Stoke, Chelsea and West Brom.

Their chairman is a bit of a clown tbh. he said Belhanda will cost 50 million Euros
14-18M will definitely be enough
His buy-out clause is 10m but we'll have to pay a bit more than that because of Montpellier qualifying for the CL, 16-18m Euros should be enough.
kamran i think if he comes then a switch in formation could happen we now have pace down the flanks so why not utilise that with 2 strikers? hell he may get some decent crosses for them overhead kicks
we also wont need that cesc type of player for them killer balls wilshere/arteta and song/coq could be a new viera gilberto partnership for us
Saint, you really do disappoint me sometimes. I mean some of your comments remind me of Rev.
We aren't going to change formation, don't think giroud will sign for arsenal. Podolski is ours, campbell, afobe coming through.
