Would make me happy to see McLeish take another team down

You are in serious, serious trouble now!McLeish just doesn't have the intestinal fortitude for a relegation battle and this is an absolute carbon copy of Blues last season!
We were actually in a better position than you last season!
Bad for Midlands football but you've laughed at our misery countless times on relegation, you know what they say about revenge?
It must have been a long, long time since villa were last relegated,at least the city will see the back of that ginger mercenary forever.
I just think villa & Blues fans should band together to chase him out of Birmingham, pelting him with rotten tomatoes...filled with housebricks!

The most gauling thing of all is the lack fo self belief and confidence. Many of our players are well versed in EPL, and are being paid a lot of money, partly for their utter self belief in their abilities; that's what tops players at top clubs are paid for. And yet, the players are even more scared than under GH. What happened to the Scottish grit and backbone these players were going to inherit? For them to shorn of skill and guile is no surprise given the mgr's football philosophy (hence the protests to begin with), but for them to so meek and pathetic and frankly scared rabbits trapped in the oncoming headlights of a car is criminal and unforgiveable.

You won't go out of love or respect for the club, but if you have any self respect left, just go Alex, just go. This is embarrassing.

only wolves have won less games in the premierleague this season and that is disgusting, and for that reason alone we do deserve to get relegated unless we win against bolton.. but i cant see how we are going to score to even attempt to turn that game into a win. the feable ways we attempt to attack is appalling.. i have never ever in my life witnessed such pathetic and disgusting football from villa.
mcleish is useless and i actually feel sorry for the blues, they would never have gone down last season if they didnt have him in charge

You are right, our team was much better than many teams,Wolves @
Wigan being just two!
The trouble with McLeish is he won't go for the wins you need now,he'll just become even more defensive until it's too late!
It's EXACTLY what he did last year with us,history repeating itself. He's too arrogant to learn from his mistakes or,heaven forbid, admit he may be to blame!

To our dear in bred cousins from the sty,we may very well go down, don't think so,but your run reminds me of my kettle, running out of steam!
Next season when you are still in the championship, all your parachute money has gone, willy Carson is inside with the ladyboys, you have sold all, what's left of,your decent players,it's time to put your waders on boys in royal blue.
Your ship will sink faster than the titanic through the leagues!
We will sack your agent, maybe buy your current coach,
And all will be well in the land of the gods!
Keep looking up on the end of your road as the shadow is still over you, even in this shocking season!
At least we now know how you must feel being a yoyo team, hurting, empty stadium, only singing songs about your mighty neighbours !
God bless you poor fools ,hope you fall next season is not to painful.
At least we will keep the prem in Birmingham, as you can keep the name, the city is so proud of your history!!
But we can still chase your agent out of brum together!
KRO you poor souls!

Great analogy liobrad, I had a similar image in my mind of us scrambling towards the finish line with all the other no-hopers on our coat tails in hot pursuit.

McLeish is a DISGRACE. Cast your minds way back to New Years Day; the weather may not have changed much, but we are just a few days from May now and during that time, McLeish’s Villa have amassed just TWO wins. I am not joking and he can take credit for neither. Lets look at those wins:

Wolves: 2-3 – Lets be honest, we were beaten at half time and showed no real sign of recovery. Wolves destroyed us after a slow start and it was only a combination of indiscipline from Karl Henry and some Robbie Keane brilliance which prevented them from gaining the 6th win which has still ultimately eluded them.

Fulham: 1-0 – A dour, dour game. I only endured it to the end so I could boo on the final whistle, so it was almost bitter sweet when the normally dependable Schwarzer fumbled into Weimann’s lap and he just about managed to scramble it over the line.

Yep that’s it. That’s all we’ve done this year and the worst thing is that if you look back at the other 14 matches we have played, there’s not one where I think “we were unlucky there” or “we battered them”. We’ve not always had such a depleted squad and we’ve played the likes of Swansea, Wigan, Blackburn, Stoke and QPR during that period, teams that were on their knees and McLeish still couldn’t muster his troops to dispatch them, not even one of them.

The clubs below us have fight, they’re not scared to have a go at the big teams and it’s starting to reap rewards for them. Do you know I thought last season was bad, but even against the big 6 at home, we still managed to pick up 8 points. Spurs still to come, but guess what we have amassed from those matches this season? Yep that’s right, a big fat ZERO – that’s what you get playing for draws.

Do you really think we will WIN tomorrow? REALLY?? Surely he will have one eye on the mathematics and satisfy himself (as lionbrad says) that a point will suffice. Owen Coyle will smell blood and likely draw it.

McLeish fell off his horse last season and although he’s got back on it, it’s clear he lacks the balls to ride it with any courage.

In his first press conference as Villa Manager, he assured the fans that they could expect a more attacking style of play, that he was working with far superior resources. This is how he addressed us as our leader. This was his rallying cry. As of now, we are in a worse position than they were at this point last season. For that reason, he must resign and for that reason, he is the worst manager in the proud, illustrious history of Aston Villa FC.

LB.I knew you would give a jab to MON.Not a suprise, although he had his downfalls I feel with a good chief scout/DOF he would of done wonders at VP.

The bolton game is huge now.Lose and we are right in it.A Win or draw and that should enough.

Once again, you have it absolutely spot on. Clearly you are an intelligent and inciteful man.

If we do somehow beat Bolton, it changes nothing. In the words of Oliver Cromwell - "In the name of God. go"
