Don't forget the Kit Deal!!
--------------------------------
I forgot all about that, a huge positive.
I dont care about the stupid cup, if we are if 8th!!!
Article of the day, sir.
Stand by your man.
We all know we need a striker but does kenny know that or will he persist with his £35M waste?
We had a chance to try and get a striker in the Jan window when we were still in the hunt for a CL place but who blew it? Kenny, Comolli, the owners?
I'm afraid the plastics are on the march. Good article OP.
So Kenny replaces Roy. Spends over 100 mil. Has a worse league record than Roy, in a season when every top team, bar city, has its worst season in years. 40 points of the top you are. Below Everton, potentially Fulham too.
Yet a carling cup win, winning a competition in which the big boys play their reserves, one which Birmingham won last year, a cup won on pens against lower league oppostion is enough to discount all those points?
Kenny will know it but he missed his chance in January so we will have to wait until the summer transfer window, but we stand by our team, if times are bad then we take it, that makes the good times worth it.
I can't stand how when we win everyone goes on about how they always knew we could do it and then when we lose the fans come out in force saying that they knew we were rubbish.
People need to make up their minds and stick to it.

A cup which Birmingham won against Arsenal who are a top team.
And no but getting into the FA cup final is always a push in the right direction, I'm saying to give him time.
Wenger has had 7 years with no progression.

Three different competitions- won one of them, in the final of another, but inconcistent in the league. Thats fine for me this season because on the whole there has been improvement.
I am being completely honest here, I would rather win two cups this season and finish 8th, than finish 3rd like Arsenal and win nothing. Horses for courses though isn't it.
Sorry to say it but at this point in time we are a mid table outfit with a squad full of misfits and a CC cup and potential FA cup does not hide that fact

we bought a new stadium
see how you fair if it even happens.....
and still AW has kept us in the CL for 15 seasons....
37 points of Man Utd but only 15 off relegation

Football is about winning trophies, 15 seasons of Champions league football and you haven't won it once. I struggle to understand the idea of been proud of making the champions league every year yet never winning it.
I still think even if we get a new good striker we will not improve our league position. It is to do with the way we play. We depend far too much on Suarez and the flanks to create chances. The problem, Suarez wants to beat everyone to score and when he crosses there is no one in the box. Our wingers or full backs never get a decent cross into the box. We need someone who can boss the midfield and we need to keep possession more than 70% when we play against the likes of WBA at Anfield. Team will eventually get tired and can leave gap at the back. But we give them time to rest and breath and even hit us on the break. God we miss Alonso and Lucas.
its just nice to be in it mate
watching the games during the week and going to Europe is a bit of fun..... much rather that than the carling cup
each to their own.
How do you call it a knee-jerk reaction?
Fans with season tickets have had virtually nothing to cheer about since January

I agree with that, but a trophy is a trophy.
As you said though, each to their own.
a trophy you say?
not sure what one of them is its been so long

Excuses.
Don Vito- Because its one season, that's why. Yes it's not nice but if we sack Kenny that will just mean we have to find a new manager who might struggle just as much. I'd rather see Kenny given a chance for another year, but that's my opinion and not everyone has to share it.

Thats what Crawley Town say about being in the FA Cup.
And you have as much chance of winning the CL as Crawley have of win the FA Cup.
