New one came out called Retribution....
Only just found that out on Wiki...
not publicised very effectively
Npe - I know. There's been a few adverts on the T.V. Continues from where 4th finished off.
Both Resident Evil and the sequel appear on Roger Ebert's most hated films list, published in 2005
-
Critics never really liked the series.
But as a series it has always comfortably gained a profit per film.
Steve- i havent seen 2 or 4.
Seen 1 and 3. I know weird.
Npe - I remember one critic was going along the lines with as it was nothing like the movie, none of the characters were there in the first one etc.
It's still done decently well as a movie. It's got a decent following as well. Just needs a better advertising campaign.
Its good if you take it for what it is- ignore the plot holes and just watch.
Similar to Underworld in that regard. Or so I am told.

Thats a pretty good deal. They arent bad films. Even though they arent the most critically acclaimed, they are good fun. Just dont expect oscar worthy moments.
But by all means by them for that price. I saw 1 and 3 and I enjoyed them.
I havent seen Underworld, but a lot of people I know have. Apparently they are quite similar, to the extent people often get scenes and lines from each series confused.
Steve- is Resident Evil the one with that guy saying 'I love the smell of Napalm in the morning!'. Can't remember.
Npe - Don't think it is. Not that i can recall anyway.
Gazza - They're pretty "fun" movies. Mindless killing of zombies etc but in a more fun way than just pointing a gun and shooting
Steve- dang I am thinking of Apocalypse Now!
All those films get merged in my head. Got Matrix an Tron confused the other day
I need to get my DVD's sorted out. Ran out of room for them now. 9 Shelves full as well as 3 DVD racks. God knows how many is in the spare bedroom
Gazza you should watch all of them as the story continues from each film. So don't miss out a film as you won't get the plot of the next one
Also I thought the new Resident Evil Movie was coming out next week on Wednesday. Surely it's not out yet?
TLLL - The Premiere was yesterday in the UK. Comes out on the 28th this month according to Odeon.
Interesting what De Bruyne said.
“I was with Chelsea for pre-season this summer. The level was higher there. That made it easy for me to adjust to the Bundesliga,” he is quoted as saying by ESPN.
The Belgium international scored his first Bundesliga goal in the recent 3-2 defeat to Hannover and has been deployed as a ‘false number nine’ by the Germans at times this term. He conceded that he will remain in England, even if he isn’t playing for the Blues.
“I am happy with my start, even if I am still getting accustomed to the style of play.”
“I know I have to go back,” he said. “Chelsea are positive about me. Sadly, there is no chance that Werder could extend the loan. If I don’t get any playing time at Chelsea, I have to stay in England. To loan me to another European club is not an option for Chelsea.”
So he'll either be in our first team more next season,or a loan to an English club then hopefully with us.
Laura beat the number 3 seed and world number 30 in straight sets 6-4 6-2 to reach her first WTA final where she will play Ursula Radwanska the world number 39.
Laura is the first British woman to reach a WTA singles final for 22 years.
---
She could easily become a top 10 player.
She's a good player that is underrated by many. Could see her one day winning Wimbledon (when the William sisters have retired )
