Don he's been compared to Aqualani but more physical/better defensively, never seen him though
BK
Cole's contract situation is sounding very similar to Drogba's last year.......
BK - I wouldn't rule it out. Milan are in a bad place and i wouldn't be surprised at all if he left in the next season or so. Especially with the younger team we are now gathering.
Newcastle are leading the chase to sign FC Basel defender Aleksandar Dragovic.
Alan Pardew is keen to sign another central defender when the transfer window re-opens and reports in Swiss newspaper Blick claim he is lining up a £5million offer for the 21-year-old.
Dragovic has also attracted interest from Fiorentina and Stuttgart but he would be tempted by a lucrative move into the Premier League.
The Austrian international has a contract with Basel until June 2015 and the Swiss club will not allow him to leave him unless a sizeable offer is made.
Spanish source Nuevo Futbol state that Tottenham are preparing a January move for Athletic Bilbao youngster Oscar de Marcos, a player Andre Villas-Boas is seemingly keen to lure to White Hart Lane.
After a couple of average seasons at San Mames, de Marcos came to the fore last term to help his Basque side to become a regular in Marcelo Bielsa’s side with his most prominent displays coming during the La Liga side’s run to the Europa League final.
Oscar de Marcos can effectively fill a central midfield role but has also played for Athletic Bilbao at full-back and as a centre forward. This source states that the former Spanish Under 21 international has a release clause of €30m (£23.9m).
According to Italian source CalcioMercato Man United are reportedly considering a move to sign Fulham contract rebel Brede Hangeland.
The 31 year old US born Norwegian international is in the final year of his contract and seemingly no nearer to agreeing a new deal and this has led to speculation that the giant centre back could be available on the cheap in the January transfer window.
If Cole leaves I'm not convinced he needs to be replaced
Ivanovic, Bertrand, Azpilicueta and Hutchinson could be fine in terms of fullback options
Plus Cahill/Luiz if we're desperate
CSTP - Chances are we will go for someone. Been a lot of links to Digne, Lucic, etc.

Gazza - Would fit what the papers were saying that anyone over the age of 30 at the club will only be offered1 year deals.
Big day for Piazon, very excited to see him play
How's Bruma doing? Any chance of him coming back?
Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic out for eight weeks with knee injury
WOLVES- probable line up
Ikeme
Stearman, Berra, Johnson, Ward
Peszko, Henry, Doumbia, Sako
Ebanks-Blake, Doyle

Rumours are there won't be a link today?
If its true I will be gutted. Really want to see Piazon, Azpilicueta and a Moses start.
In a way I'll be happy if there isn't a stream. I have so much work to do.
NPE he's doing ok on loan but overshadowed by the likes of Kalas
