With pets, I imagine the annoying thing is when you want to go somewhere for a few days or more as items you have to leave them in some sort of pet hotel or something like that.

Don't get people's emotional attachments to pets.
Even when they want to buy a new property has to cater for the pet, or deal breaker.
Can't bring myself to be attached.

Mr C it won't be exactly easy to read as a profile pic.
I once killed someone else's pet fish. Sad times (but hilarious).
I also used to have two rabbits. I think one died and the other ran away.
Apart from for decorative purposes, why would you have snakes/hamsters/fish as pets? It's not like you can get attached to them emotionally and it's not like they can keep you company and stuff.

Dragonflies only live for 24 hours.
I always wanted a parrot until I did a little research and found out they were extremely high maintenance. I seriously doubt now if I'll ever own a parrot until I'm married.
Mr C - If you just want the one then a species of Oscar would probably be good. Best to have just one as they are very territorial. Easy to food as they eat just about anything that would fall into the water. Only problem (as such) is that they can grow quite a lot depending on the type and amount of food they get.
I saw a cow killed when I was 7 in Nigeria, made me the man I am today. Tasted nice the next day.
Cats seem nice but they have horrible creatures. My old cat who seemed so friendly and innocent most of the time once hunted a bird and practically tore it apart but made sure it was still living.
Then it just left it there and I found the bird soon after.
I chopped the head off a dead deer with an axe at my cousin's behest when I was 14. Smelt awful and took several swings
