Undederved stick for Oscar today

Jose got the team wrong. Oscar should have started in the middle. No need to fix something that isn't broken. People go on about Oscar not being creative enough but it's like Mata created any chances in the first half.

Jose should have started Willian or Schürrle out on the right. Whilst either of Mata or Oscar should have been picked for the central position.

TLLL Jose got the team wrong and then the subs wrong. Oscar was the most quiet of the attacking mids and nobody aside from Oscar/Npe on here has said he was awful. Just not very good.

TCW I wasn't judging Mata as a player. I was judging us as a team whilst Mata is playing (and you know that is a perfectly good way to do that).

I want Mata to start for us. There is a part of me that still thinks our best team is with all three of Hazard, Mata and Oscar playing. But Oscar shouldn't be dropped/played out of position just because Mata was good last season under a different manager and playing in a different system. And so far Mata hasn't done enough to warrant a place in our PL team.

By the way TCW I can see why you wear vests.

JNR we did have a nice little chat earlier. You do WUM quite a lot though, and you're deadpan enough for it to work so don't expect people to react well.

RtM Jose should have never played Oscar on the right especially after what he said about not wanting Oscar tracking back. Oscar has played all season in the centre (when Mata hasn't played) so he was never gonna have a blinder.

People want a playmaker in that position but Oscar offers other things that Mata can't. His tracking back and pressing is second to non. I just think he's very good when we are counter attacking and suits our counter attacking play better then Mata (right now).

I think Willian and Schurrle are better players then Oscar and Mata on the right as they have played on the wings a lot for their previous clubs.

Really plssed of with the result and performance. Beating Manchester City one week and then lose to Newcastle (no disrespect) . If we want to be champions we need to win these sort of games.

JNR I don't think Oscar, Mata and Hazard will be our best 3 players for those 3 positions under Jose. The type of football Jose wants to play is fast counter attacking football and I think Willian or Schurrle will cement their place as a wide right sided player,
