Run of bad form in FF. Eriksen and Rafael not doing anything means I have to transfer them out. Paulinho and Reid in as I couldn't afford anyone better who've actually scored some points this season. Walcott back next week though, he'll score and assist a few.

Oscar has been fine this season and we've been good whenever he's started in the middle. People want us to be that great footballing side under Mourinho but that won't never happen.
With Oscar's ball retaining, hustling, movement, medium passing range I cannot for the life of me see how he wouldn't be better equipped in CM. We would take away his goals most likely but he can learn from the best in Lampard on how to get into those positions and how to time them. Having him dictate from the middle and get forward that would obviously mean Ramires wouldn't be the best partner. Mikel or someone like/better than him would work.
Oscar isn't a weak player so saying he would be smothered doesn't fly. I just think he can be that link we all wish we had in CM.

Gazza I think the same as you. Jose is leading us up a blind alley.

No he's not. He's got his playing style and he wants us to play that way. I think he'll build a very good team. Not the sort of possession based team most want to see though.
His armpit hair is more impressive.
TLLL we've been having loads of possession. What are you basing this on?
Cech
Azpi Terry Ivan Cole
Luiz Oscar
Willian Mata Hazard
Torres
??? One for the future possibly.
I'm still very confident in what Jose is doing but there will be ups and downs, it isn't 2004 and expectations need to be adjusted.
The performance, regardless of the three points we ended up getting, against Man City was a massive leap forward to anything we have produced against City for years. That in itself is a hugely positive sign.
For the first time since Carlo in 09/10, I get the feeling we have a manger who both has a clear direction in mind of where he wants to go and has the experience and ability to get us there, maybe not this year but soon.
Future this season? Possibly. I the coming seasons? No. Cole and Terry can't be considered a possibility IMO.
