with your italian roots who will you be supporting at the wc rtm?
Italian Americans. Yourself Bandy?
I don't really know. I really wish i cared more about England but i just don't enough to get that bothered about it. I don't want to fake my support either.
That's too bad. I don't understand how you cannot support your own country. I know we won't do very well but if we can reach or surpass our performances last time around I will be very happy. Last World Cup I had an amazing time down at the pubs. We used to be so awful. Now were ok and that means anything can happen. I love upsetting a much better nation.
I won't be 'supporting' anyone but I do want England and Belgium to do well
And actually, World Cup is probably the only thing I support my country in
It's weird because I want England to get a really hard group but I also want them to get at least to the knockout stages. They're just so difficult to support when crap like Welbeck makes the team sheet
You support your country not the players. If I stopped supporting the US because of the crap we had I'd never support them again.
may have something to do with being brought up by 2 scottish parents idk although i don't really support scotland either.
All you have to do is pick one and blindly support them. It's not difficult
i have to feel emotional attachment to them
Problem is I'm not English. Fine I live in England but the fact they are so boring and take up Chelsea time annoys me (not their fault I know). I want them to do well but probably wouldn't even get out my seat if they scored in a World Cup final
How is it difficult? After you've decided who to support it just comes along with the package. I "decided" to support Chelsea. Emotional attachment comes with the effort of supporting. If you don't care because you've not tried then it's likely you can care when you do try. However if you have given effort before and it just didn't work out then maybe you should give Scotland who will never ever have a chance at winning your support. You can then expect to lose but cheer insanely when you get the odd win.
Oh, right, you're welsh ain't ya? Do the English look down on the welsh?
I have tried. I even have England tops
have they disappointed you too many times?
i don't even know i haven't genuinely cared since i was like 8 or 9
although i was close to tears at the euros the other year but that was cause i was off my head in magaluf

When I was a kid I loved watching England play but as time has gone on I've lost interest in England and international football.
Will watch the World Cup and cheer on any Chelsea player that participates.

Press start after putting in whatever detergent you want to wash your cloths with. Also set the time and whether you want your cloths washed with hot or cold water.
A few years back I washed my Chelsea shirt with hot water and the players name came of from the back.

I can remember running into school before 8am to watch the England vs Brazil game. Ronaldinho's goal vs Seaman
I missed all of that as a child. Football was about as common as leap year for us. World Cup would come out of no where and get ignored because nobody watched it. So for this competition to just appear on tv all of a sudden....it wasn't of any interest.
It's so depressing to think about. All of the football/Chelsea I missed due to lack of coverage.
