TLLL is that for the Euro's in 2012? So yuo would want a 32, 34 and 33 year olds in your team? I would expect the likes of Huddlestone and Cleverly to be overtaking them by then and maybe Josh as 4th or 5th choice

Of couse that would not be my team but thats the team Capello will most likely put out. I just can't see him dropping Gerrard and Wilshere is more or less guaranteed to be starting. The only position I see up for grabs is Parkers position.

I just can't see Cleverly forcing his way into the England starting line-up in 6 months time. We also don't have any other players that look like they could get into that midfield.

I can see the old guard getting one more chance. But it doesn't matter who we put out there as we will get hammered by any decent side (Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Italy) we play

Parker > Barry > Carrick

Barton deserves a England call up. He has been the best English midfielder for the last 12 months

Even France would take England to the cleaners. England are just not good enough. They play good against some awful international teams but as soon as they match a decent team they look as if they have never played football before.

Didn't realise this'll mean Rooney misses the start of the tournament

England will be out before he's available for selection

Johnson Parker Wilshire Young
Sturridge Welbeck

Seems good, nothing more

Gazza we're paying Torres and Terry near what Silva's earning yet can't afford Silva's wages...

Not to mention, Silva's worth about twice the amount of what his transfer fee was

Silva

It's ok, we have Mata, Aguero is the more annoying miss

No but that's for something over a year ago

We could have brought Silva in then, and then Mata as we did

Our only wide players were Anelkalouda, as Carlo didn't give Sturridge a chance while Kakuta went on loan

We bought Yossi but he was never a wide player (I know Silva isn't but Silva is exceptional)

Gazza I can understand that

I mainly just find it incredibly frustrating knowing that we couldn't get him for those reasons

Kompany and De Jong were signed in the start of a top 6 Man City side

They were paying waaaaaay over the odds on wages for average players like Bridge, Santa Cruz etc (players who this summer they struggled to get off the wage bill)

At the time they were all earning that sort of amount. Some players have become far better than others tho

If we had Silva at Chelsea we would have had a few more cups in our cabinet by now He would have the perfect play maker.

Kompany and de Jong seem quite profressional, and their contracts should be coming to an end in the next 2 years, so they'll probably wait till then and then ask for a wage of 100'000 +
