Ah yeah he scored an own goal

I'm not sure AVB rates Alex anymore,he may well rest Luiz for this game but play him against Genk. Which will mean Bos starting at rb and Ivanovic and Terry at CB.
He will only be forced to play Alex if 1 of Terry/Ivanovic pick up an injury.

That's how I see it anyway

Playing Everton, an injury is likely

Alex made 1 mistake and banished. Don't think that's right. Bosingwa makes 100's of 'em

Alex has lost the pace though, seems like injuries have taken it's toll on him

We are now playing a high line. Not many defenders can catch any forward when turned by ball over the top.
I have no football knowledge

AVB clearly has a soft spot for Bosingwa though

Hutchinson would have been the perfect right back, can't rely on Bosingwa(although he has been marginally better than before) and Ferreira

Talking of pace, Drogba's has gone also

MATCH FACTS
No team in the Premier League has conceded fewer shots on target than Chelsea (25).

Frank Lampard has scored four goals from just five shots on target in the Premier League this season.

Tim Howard has only conceded two goals from the last seven penalties faced, making four saves.

Chelsea have won only one of the last nine Premier League meetings with Everton, drawing six of the remaining eight encounters.

Louis Saha has scored five goals in six appearances in all competitions for Everton against Chelsea.

Didier Drogba has scored seven goals in his last nine Premier League matches against Everton.

Chelsea have won nine and lost none of their last 10 Premier League games at Stamford Bridge, but have gone five games without a clean sheet on home soil.

Everton have gone 16 games at Stamford Bridge since their last Premier League victory (W0 D9 L7), but the last five games in a row have all been draws. No Premier League fixture has ever seen six consecutive draws.

The Londoners have gone six games without a clean sheet and they have not had a run of seven without a shutout since September 2003.

Everton have won none of their last eight Premier League trips to London, drawing six.

Well Drogba has never been the quickest player, his main attributes has always been his powerful shots/headers,both footed, ability to hold up the ball.

He has just returned from injury,he will regain his sharpness that I have no doubt about.

If Drogba can regain sharpness at 33, Alex can also

Defenders don't need to be as fit as midfielders. Alex has plenty of career left. Essien is fecked
