In fairness Mr C, it feels like an attempt at a conciliatory article...............I know you have had some big runs ins with him, and I agree he is not the sharpest tool in the box, but on this article I think you can cut him some slack..

Just a guy with unpopular opinions and an inability to construct a convincing argument. Not as bad as Maf, who is nearly pointless.

I prefer to play matic-luiz than bring barkley in.

Until Matic got here I thought Luiz was our best midfielder.

I am not convinced that Luiz is nor should be anything more than just our best sticking plaster option to partner Matic for the rest of this season.........

I think if we really want to moe up closer to the Bayern's of this world then we need better quality than Luiz in CM...........

But he is def my preferred choice for this season playing alongside Matic

I remain disappointed though that Luiz has failed to build upon his excellent form at CB under Rafa where it looked like he could go on to be one of the world's best.

Similar to Mata in some respects. He's obviously a good player and deserves a starting spot. But he doesn't look like he'll get that here. That, and because he commands a good fee, means he's almost definitely gone in the summer.

One thing you can't deny about Luiz is that both on the pitch an off the pitch he is an entertainer..........

Swedish superkid Joel Asoro is wanted by England's biggest clubs.

G7 - If Everton want him then I suspect it'll be a deal involving Barkley. Having said that it would probably be us paying x amount + Lukaku.
