Also I think you're underestimating Romeu, he seems more than just a high stamina destroyer, he can pass (and move) as well

Also I think you're over-estimating Lampard, the best footballing midfield we could offer would be McEachran and Miereles in the same one, Lampard is not very creative really is he?

But BK Lampard offers one valuable thing: Goals

In 09-10 maybe we could have done without Lampard for a few games, but that was when Anelka-Drogba-Malouda
was destroying the league.

A Cole a great player but looks like age is catching up on him.
Hes making far too many errors & definitely not the same player as he was maybe 2-3 seasons ago. GReat going forward but too many errors defensively.

Ivanovic is a great defender but makes far too many errors.
Obviously need Bosingwa to return or think of the future & make a bid for Kyle Walker.

Chelsea are normally solid in defence but this season have been awful. They need a bit of freshening up.You cannot play high line if your players dont have great ball control defensively.

Modric was a no-brainer.Its plain to see Chelsea are lacking massively in Creativity. Meireles is good but Modric is better!

Why did Torres NOT start with Sturridge & Mata on the wings in a 4-3-3 or Mata behind the 2 forwards in a 4-3-1-2?

We can't be relying on Lampard for goals for the rest of this seaso really, but I don't mind because Mata, Sturridge and Torres will get their fair share of goals. Did Lampard pose any goal threat yesterday? To rely on what has been and up and down season for him for goals would be risky.


We don't need a new LB, Bertrand just has to be trusted more. Walker won't move, I would look at Montoya at Barce, or Hugo Mallo.

If we plan to stay 4-3-3 and went for a new midfielder instead of another deep midfielder I'd prefer to go for a more attacking, box-to-box one like CSTP wants, McEachran and Miereles can both play the same as where Modric plays
