Chelsea have set their sights on Neven Subotic.

Andre Villas-Boas knows his defence is in dire need of improvement, as he looks to keep pace with the two Manchester clubs at the head of the Premier League.

Subotic is regarded as one of the best defenders in European football, and has in the past been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United as well as the Blues.

If Borussia Dortmund crash out of the UEFA Champions League at the group stage this season, it is believed Villas-Boas fancies his chances of landing the Serb.

However, the 22-year-old won’t come cheap, as his current employers are reluctant to lose him and will demand at least £20million to consider his sale

He's worth 20m

Lets hope Borussia Dortmund crash out of the UEFA Champions League

Not surprised he has demanded that fee with Real Madrid,Chelsea,Arsenal and possibly City knocking on the door for Hazard.

ROBERTO DI MATTEO is considering his Chelsea future – just five months after being appointed assistant to Andre Villas-Boas.

Starsport understands the former West Brom boss badly misses being the main man, having spent almost three years in the hot-seat with the Baggies and MK Dons before that.

If Hazard goes to Real Madrid I will flip

Understandable for Di Matteo I guess

He's seen Chelsea's worst start under Roman with AVB & knows he'll never be in charge

If he does move on who would AVB appoint ? - did he want Di Matteo ? (no reason why not)

Depends on whether he gets offered a good enough Manager's position too I suppose - he aint going to make any rash decisions

If Di Matteo does leave then Zola might be in the frame to replace him, probably not likely though because I think Zola wants to manage a club as well not be assistant.
AVB wanted Vitor Pereira(assistant at Porto) originally,he was AVB's first choice, but he took over as Porto manager when AVB left so had to go with his second choice Di Matteo.

Anyway we will see It is probably garbage from the DailyStar as usual.

Perriera
just no..

I have gone off Cahill a bit - I want to see us get a very good defender who can start for us Subotic would be great

Loaning De Bruyne back to Genk would make no sense, considering he'd probably be our 3rd choice winger and would no doubt get plenty of gametime
