For me despite Sturridge missing chances he was MOTM IMO,He had the beating of Raylor all day long,was using his right foot more often, could have got an assist If Ramires didn't miss his 1 on 1. Krul was oustanding. Honourable mention to Meireles when he came off the bench looked completely in his zone played a blinder. Romeu as well just superb in that DM role.

I find it ironic how we all wanted Anelka to go throughout the summer, and got annoyed because he said he will see out his contract no matter what

Now, he finally hands in a request...but at a time when he could actually be useful

BK Anelka will be sold in Jan, and I'm guessing so will Kalou to get some cash. That leaves only Mata and Sturridge for wide spots

De Bruyne comes in anyway, but with the loss of Anelka too, we could do with someone very good already as well

(notice how I've 'forgotten' about Malouda)

Also BK the fact that both Hazard and Subotic are cup tied doesn't bother me, considering that we won't be in the CL anymore anyway

Godin is a good squad player and better than Cahill but not a first choice player I want us to get

Alternatively, we offload Bosingwa and bring in a good RB like Isla
