Lampard's penalties are crap 90% of the time.
If a keeper guesses right they would save his penalties 90% of the time.
Btw, I hear a rumour that Alex will never play for AVB again. If you bear in mind that Bosingwa may not be fit for Monday, and that Luiz is suspended our defence could look awkward:
Cole Terry Ivanovic Ferreira
how can you get perfect connection and it go backwards. A perfect connection would go forwards

no it hit the sweet spot of my head, but i tried to angle it in to the top corner by twisting my neck.
and it didn't work.

Just remembered this.
Think he meant it.
What I don't get with pen takers is why so many place it.
If you put your foot through it, and make sure it goes on target, you'll score 80-90% of the time. If it is hit low, the keepr has no chance, and even if it is central and at a good height for the keeper, he may still not save it. And if you hit it under the bar or bear the top of the goal, its perfect.

true.
What I don't get, as said before in a comment a few mins back, is why so many place their pens. It requires excellent accuracy or the luck of the keeper diving the wrong way for it to go in, Power pens when on target nearly always go in.
npe Alex and Anelka have had to clear out their lockers, are no longer allowed in the first team building at Cobham when the rest of the squad are there and can't park in the players car park. If AVB asked them to play I doubt either would agree

So if Bosingwa is still injured on monday, we have Paulo Ferreira as RB vs City?
They had their lockers cleared by some one else.
Bertrand at LB Cole at RB?
Bosingwa at LB and Cole at RB, reckon that'll work.
Cole has been given the run around by teams recently, playing at RB will only make it worst.
And I rate Bertrand, but think playing him in a wrong position for such a big game would be a disaster.
So I guess if Boss is injured, then someone is going to have to double up with Ferreira on the right flank. Ramires may have to help him 24/ cos although Ferreira is good in tackles and positioning, he won;t be able to cope with Man City's speed alone.
Sturridge may have to track back to.
Cole has no right-foot and can't shoot
Bertrand can shoot but I doubt his right-foot is amazing either
It'll probably have to be either...
Ferriera at RB
Alex at CB (Ivan at RB)
Romeu in CB (but that would mean one of Mikel/Lamps in midfield...unless we go 4-2-3-1, which means one of Anelkalouda starting
How is LB for Bertrand a wrong position?
Maybe what gazza has suggested...even though I hate it, put Ramirés at RB

Cole could cut in as could Bosingwa.
Cole and Sturridge.
The most one footed combo in world football.
I'd go....
Cech
Ferreira Terry Ivanovic Cole
Romeu Meireles Ramires
Sturridge Drogba Mata
Bench
Turnbull Bertrand Mikel Lampard Malouda Kalou Torres
As Boss will probs be injured, Luiz is suspended, Essien is crippled, and Alex and LeSulk are banished.
In a two man sack race the one on the right would be dragged along the ground
How is LB for Bertrand a wrong position?

I thought he said put Bertrand as RB?
