Chelsea Football Club has today agreed terms with Atletico Madrid for the permanent transfer of Filipe Luis.
The Brazilian returns to the Spanish club after a year with the Blues in which he helped us to both Barclays Premier League and Capital One Cup successes.
Filipe Luis arrived in London as a Spanish league champion alongside fellow former Atletico man Diego Costa, and made his debut as a substitute in our 6-3 win against Everton at the end of August.
The 29-year-old’s first start came against Schalke in the Champions League, and he netted his one Chelsea goal from a free-kick in our Capital One Cup win at Derby.
In total Filipe Luis played 26 times for Chelsea. We wish him all the best in the future.

May take Zhirkov's position in my flop XI.
Watch soaps instead of wrestling
Do you need new leaders now Petr Cech and Didier Drogba have gone?
....(John Obi) Mikel is, after John, the guy with most years of Chelsea...

dehydration is 99% the reason behind headaches

If we only get those players would you say we've improved our squad? Our aim was to improve on our squad players. Not sure we have really done that.
I'd have to wait and see how Oscar performs. If Oscar can find consistency then I'm glad we're not replacing him in the starting XI.
The signings we've made are sensible and not spectacular, nothing to get really excited about but probably slightly improved us.
Falcao has to be an upgrade on a 37 year old Drogba, Begovic a slight downgrade from Cech but homegrown, Baba N/A. So a mixed bag really.

Stones would improve the starting 11 as far as I'm concerned.
Rahman and Telles are unknown to me, will find it difficult to displace Azpi unless they cam strike a balance defensively and offensively(which Luis couldn't first and foremost notable downgrade defensively, weak).
