Checking through the comments, I have one question:
If Liverpool still had Torres, would we be saying Torres at his best was better?
Drogba at his best was better than Torres at his best, for Chelsea or any other team
Eto'o at his best was as good as Torres at his best. Likes of Henry and DRogba were both better
Exactly, Drogba at his best was literally unplayable, wheras Torres was the type of striker who was anonymous but with one chance will finish superbly.
That's the difference
Ive always rated Torres as the best even in his Liverpool days
Morning
Did I miss any transfer news?
Hello RTM
Lampard to United
Cavani to Chelsea
Cahill agrees wages
I think only the Cahill one has any truth to it

Torres and Eto'o at their best wuold still struggle with a poor midfield. Drogba and Henry would both still be able to terrorise teams. Torres and Eto'o were probably better general finishers and goalscorers but Drogba and Henry would score just as many goals whatever players were around them
Although I'm struggling to think of other strikers who were up there 07-09. I know Henry wasn't but I just mentioned him as I rate him and Drogba very highly. There were the likes of Villa, and Tevez but they weren't as good as Torres and Eto'o
I think Villa stands a shout tbh
Drogba at his best was simply amazing. Wilkins said something along the lines of 'if you could create a striker on a computer game who is almost perfect, he's the man'
Obviously an exaggeration but he had basically everything
Torres isn't quite as effective without a great bunch of midfielders/passers in the team
Chelsea were never rebound during Drogba's era for having the most creative midfield
Drogba WAS the creator basically
Oh and BK my cousin went to Manchester
It seems Liverpool to are taking the FA Cup more seriously as well despite only playing Oldham. Only Coates and arguably Shelvey are the more younger players starting. Watch them still lose
Drogba's movement and finishing tho, which in a lot of cases seem to be key for a CF (Torres was 10/10 in both categories) has never really been that good tbh.
TBF Lampard was always pretty good at creating as well But you're right we never had a first-team playmaker really since arguably Thiago. There was Deco but he was a squad player. Mostly because Lampard and Drogba have always scored loads of goals and usually everyone in the squad seems to get a few, even the defenders
And CSTP you better be on for clubs/league matches tonight
one Direction were apparently in a car crash, though probably a small one. I hope they're ok, espiecally Harry
Breaking News: The entire Chelsea squad has turned in transfer requests along with Abramovich but Boas has turned them all down. Boas has told Roman he must shower with the reserves and eat while actually feeding himself. Roman was said to have started stomping his feet and crying 'I don't wanna' repeatedly until he tired himself out and fell asleep in an empty spa.
