Pretty unfair to expect one player to shoulder the entire responsibility of a team’s performance and then criticise him when he can’t live up to your unrealistic expectations.

Our team should be good enough that opposition can’t afford to focus on Jorginho as there are too many other threats. That’s possibly the main difference between Napoli and Chelsea under Sarri.

Well Hazard is playing false 9 so he's irrelevant at the moment because he's hardly seeing the ball so you don't have to do much vs him. He's got his back to goal most of the time so he's ineffective and playing in the wrong position.

Jorginho is supposed to start our attacks, but as he's being man marked/pressed we're done for. The only other option is hoping Luiz can ping one from 70 yards and hope Pedro is on the end of it

And again, our team should have enough different threats that man marking Jorginho will cause them problems elsewhere. He’s supposed to be an important cog in the system, not the only one

Hazard situation is Sarri's fault and due to our useless strikers but with the arrival of Higuain (hopefully sooner rather than later) he should be back to his preferred position.

Just feel Jorginho could do with a break, take some time out. I was hoping we'd sign Paredes or Barella to give him that time off but not looking likely.

He definitely needs a rest, as do Willian and Alonso.

Did u not watch the game at the weekend? Our problem is not lack of width it’s who we have out wide. Jorgino has been woeful the last month though. Some of his passing has been atrocious. Summed up by his pass in the last minute on Saturday

Kante just looks ordinary is this new role, we need someone like him to snuff out the danger at the back but he's too busy making runs in the box and trying to get on the end of crosses.

Yes, there are other terrible players in the side, notably Willian and Alonso.

Azpi is struggling offensively as a RB, great defensively but cannot offer width or any overlapping runs on the right hand side.

Kovacic doesn't do anything either.

Kante and Hazard as mentioned are in the wrong position.

I think Kante has been amazing. He still pops up everywhere like always and yet he’s now also become the best dribbler on the planet and a goal machine.

Ah take what that donut says with a pinch of salt mate. They don’t watch them every week. I defended jorgino most the season, he was always getting into space but our full backs were always 1-2 seconds slow to find him, by the time he did get it , the pass was too late and he was immediately under pressure.

The last month though he has been very poor.

Agreed Nick guy needs a rest and the team need to improve overall.

Yup there's nothing worse than watching an ex pro talking complete chit about the game. Probably why so many of them flop as managers.

Kante has been about ordinary in his new position, I’d rate him about 6-7-10. Yes it is because he’s playing in a new role but he hasn’t been amazing or exceptional..

He still has room to improve but he’s been far from ordinary IMO. He’s basically playing his normal game only further up the pitch and is now trying to add to the attack more than he used to.

Think Kante has kept our midfield together tbh. With Willian and alonso we start with 9 men and a lack of athleticism. Kante makes up for atleast one of them.

Most of Kante's energy is currently being used getting in the box for crosses and trying to join in the attack.

He's far better helping stop opposition attacks but with this new role he's always caught up the field. This leaves Jorginho exposed and we all know he's hopeless defensively and hasn't got the pace to recover.
