For this Sarri ball to work you need athletic full backs that can get up and down the flank.

Fair point, Alonso is the bigger concern but he seems to get away with bad performance after bad performance and never get dropped.

Azpi never gets in the position to cross and when he does it hits the 1st man. His defensive game is brilliant but offensively he's average.

As for azpi, his crossing is terrible. But ima give him the benefit of the doubt. Not only because he’s the best one on one defender in the league but because he adapted to lb, adapted to cb, is good at rb, let’s hope he can adapt to be better offensively.

Hopefully Higuain does sign in time to play tomorrow. Would be a worthwhile gamble throwing him in the team and seeing what happens.

We could use having a reliable attacking alternative to Azpi. Someone to play in games against teams likely to sit back with Azpi playing when we need more defensive solidity/his leadership. It may also help prolong his career.

Agreed, we're far too easy defend against at the moment and our attacks are far too predictable so having different options available will be key to open up defences.
