Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta says the club currently have no plans to bring Oriol Romeu back from Chelsea.
Romeu left the Camp Nou last year, with the deal taking him to Chelsea initially said to contain a buy-back clause that could be exercised in either 2012 or 2013.
Andre Villas-Boas and Chelsea have remained adamant that the clause amounts to no more than a first option should the club decide to sell, and Zubizarreta now appears to have confirmed those claims.
"We have a first option on Oriol Romeu, but at this moment we don't plan to re-sign him," he told RAC1.
Romeu's agent had earlier suggested the midfielder could head back to Barcelona in 2013.

He has still got a lot to do to become a great player. & I seriously mean a heck of a lot. His performance last week are by no means forgotten. He has to put in 10 good shift to seriously erase that awful showing last week.
If Rodwell was playing tomorrow - he wud out shine Romeu.

That's a good plan. I think I'll be doing something similar. Vegas was on the table but that'd mean I'll be missing the match so I think I'll nix that.

I don't think Sturridge will realistically lose his spot. I'm sure AVB will do his best to slap him into shape
Way to make the American look clueless
I don't remember the buildup to the pen but that part of Sturridge's play has always been lacking. At times it seems like he can't be bothered to track back. When he does, it seems half-hearted. Hopefully it's something he can work on/develop.
Also, I hope I didn't scare Dream off.. I was only joking
