Gazza - A short term fix can be a long term solution. I don't want AVB to go. But as an example,if we got Hiddink and he got us 4th/3rd and Mourinho came back next season, would you be happy with that?

We approached Hiddink before we went for AVB
I still don't know why AVB kept some of these players in the summer. Only reason i can think of is that he didn't think the teams decline would be anything like this.

The only fault i find with AVB is player selection. In a way he is getting the best out of the team he chooses.
I think he under estimated how poor the squad as a whole is and how good the teams above us would be (compared to us) and probably also scared of a supporter backlash if he attempted to sell Lampard/Cole/Drogba
Awesome - He might just want another crack in the Premiership. Just because your at Real and you have the players that they do and the funds dosen't mean it's the work of the devil if you leave. Falcao to Atletico is a very good example. A lot of players/managers just want a different challenge. Mourinho has always said he had unfinished business in the Premiership and that he would one day want to manage in the league again.
The backlash would be for few weeks and then people would realize how much better we'd be without them BK
