Birmingham -

Cech
Ivan - Luiz - Cahill - Bertrand
Ramires - Romeu - Essien
Sturridge - Torres - Kalou

Napoli -

Cech
Ivan - Luiz - Terry - Cole
Ramires - Mikel - Essien
Sturridge - Drogba - Mata

Give Mata a rest v Birmingham in preparation for the Napoli game!
The only reason I'd give Cole the nod, given his present form, is for his experience!

v Birmingham:

Cech,
Ferreira, Cahill, Hutch, Bertrand,
Mikel, Meireles,
Sturridge, Mata, Malouda,
Lukaku.

Terry doesn't need to play in the FA cup game, knee injuries are serious and If picks up an recurrence against Birmingham he will miss the Napoli match and many more games for sure. Meireles plays better in a 2 of the 4-2-3-1 formation, I will only start Malouda in Fa cup games this season. Fringe players should be used in less important cup competitions.

v Napoli:

Cech,
Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Bertrand,
Essien, Luiz,
Ramires, Mata, Kalou,
Drogba/Torres.

Sturridge needs to be dropped.
Bertrand is in the revised CL squad apparently,so he gets the nod over Cole for me (obviously If that's not the case It would have to be Cole or Bosingwa ). Never been a fan of pushing Luiz further up the pitch but the forwards(excluding Mata) & midfielders have been dire.
At least that way we can accomodate Cahill,Terry and & Luiz.

v Bolton:

Cech,
Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill/Terry, Bertrand,
Essien, Ramires,
Sturridge, Mata, Kalou (If he plays well against Napoli not holding my breathe)
Drogba/Torres/Lukaku.

That's how I would have It

If we play Bosingwa he'll get absolutely roasted against Lavezzi

Cole will have to deal with Maggio's overlaps as well as keeping Hamsik quiet (probably the DM will mark him throughout)

I'm starting to get sick of Sturridge. Far too arrogant in his own ability and he is not even that good.

A few games on the bench will do not harm as he has been awful last few games.

Would like to see:

Kalou----Drogba----Mata as our attack.

Sturridge and Torres are simply awful at the moment.

Good effort Gradel, probably should have hit the target though

He was good at Leeds
