My opinion was the foul was committed outside the box. Still, I get what you're saying. Other than that incident, how do you think he did the rest of the match TLLL?

Every day at work is a good day at work.. or next to work
During the rest of the match he was fantastic. But you need to only make one mistake like that which will cost you the game. I think he will become a good squad player but not a regular.

TLLL - That's what we can/do say about Luiz, although it does seem that he has curbed those mistakes. Still, look to his poor marking of Hernandez and you can still make the same claim which contradicts people saying outright that he's better than Cahill without giving the latter a chance to showcase his abilities.
When Terry returns I still think Luiz and Terry will be our first choice CBs. Both Luiz and Cahill are not the best defenders but Luiz has the edge over him as he offers us a lot more going forward.

Sorry, just trying to play devil's advocate. My main issue is that regardless of Cahill's quality, perceived or otherwise, he should get more playing time before we can say with certainty what level he's at.
Yeah of course he should get more time and he deserves to be starting as Terry is injured but I still think Luiz and JT will be our starting CB's
