If he went to Bayern and became a world beater then we look stupid for not protecting ourselves from that sort of poaching

If we get both Timo Werner and Nathan Ake this window for around £65 / 70 million that would be an excellent window.

Even if Werner's release clause is £50 million then getting both players for around £90 million total represents good value in the current market. Very good additions to the squad

Need someone who can cross the ball either at fullback or on the wing - preferably both by the summer.

Most our corners are dreadful, probably better we go short as most of them don't beat the 1st man.

And yes would be extremely happy if we sign Werner. Ake currently injured but I wouldn't mind us getting him.

We have got 4 CBs atm so 1 would have to go you'd think. Ake can play LB or in midfield but I'm not he'd be your dynamic fullback that is required these days.
