It's the reason I haven't been on here much, here enough on the news. Don't want to come on here and read the same.

The politics thread was hilarious in Brexit times...not been on there for ages now...heard it went very toxic, knee deep in wrong-un's

Still think the squad is imbalanced.

Three strikers, three wingers and seven midfielders isn't quite right.

Would rather sell Giroud, buy a fourth winger like Boga. And then either make a decision on Kante/Jorginho or fudge it and sell Barkley.

I’m a bit wary of this as well but at same time I’m tryna tell myself it’s arbitrary worry - we are starting to get lots of good players in different positions. And the signings of Werner and Ziyech by principle are exactly the type of opportunistic signings we should make. Players in their prime, at right stage in their career to join us, available for a decent price.

Werner’s ambiguous position I guess makes him very versatile. Someone with his consistent record at a high level i’m sure he could also adapt to playing in a different style.

Can I assume RLC will STILL be injured come resumption of the season...?

I really do like the idea of Werner and Tammy as a two though (and in a way trying to replicate to partnership that has seen Werner me so proficient).

Kante/Mount Jorginho Kovacic
Ziyech
Werner Tammy

If we get a proper LB that side just seems pretty naughty on paper.

I also like the other formations we could see though that others have posted as 4-3-3 / 4-3-2-1:

Kante/Kova/Mount Jorginho Ziyech
Pulisic Tammy Werner

So many other choices to. If we do try with Werner as a winger we can also do two in midfield, 4231. If we go Werner up top on his own (and Ziyech more advanced somewhere) there’s more space for Mount/_RLC in midfield. I know this is still unpopular but I still think in a mid three that we could also use Kante as central DM, doesn’t have to be Jorginho.

Nobody knows how anyone is going to play after this enforced lay-off do we...

If we have the injured players we had back in contention, competition for starting berths should be pretty fierce i'd say

If an overseas club like PSG or Real Madrid came in with an £80m offer for Kante - would you sell him?

I think I would.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
depends how the club sees the next season or two panning out...every chance we go in a new direction that Kante doesn't fit into i'd say

That said, I'd still want him

I think Kante will play out his career here. Jorginho is the one I could see moving soon. Barkley needs to go as well to make room for other youngsters.

Tammy needs to up his game for the remainder of the season if he wants to be first choice next season. Started the season really well but his performances went down hill in the last 2 months. Could be that he was over played or rushed back from injury too soon.

With Kante unlikely to play again this season and RLC still looking for fitness, Barkley has one final chance to really impress people with this nine game run-in. It's up to him to show he is good enough, otherwise we should really sell him in the summer.

So far he has been a useful squad player but little more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah he’s been a decent player but now with Ruben and Mount playing in the same position I don’t think we have much need for him. Next season id also like to see Gallagher given a squad role.

Btw Kante is back training. Expect him to play.

Our best run of form this season was with them 2 playing in midfield together.

Oscar isn't a fan of Kovacic from what I can remember.
