Which is good but we're going to need a top class CL level keeper if we're serious about realistically challenging for the CL again in coming seasons.
For £40 million I'd very much hope that Pope brings that.
GK distribution is quite important now, especially that many top teams look to play out from the back. It's my only potential issue with Pope as Burnley play pretty direct and long.
Wasn't so much of an issue back when Cech was GK as the generally teams just kicked long, helped we had Drogba as a target.

I'd prefer Pope to Onana though, PL proven and I believe he'll solve some of our defensive issues - set pieces/crosses

Yep said this yesterday...he'd be great
We can give them our number 3 keeper free on loan too
Cucurella sounds interesting. A LB at Barcelona but he has spent the last two years on loan at La Liga sides (Eibar and Getafe) - each time won their player of the season playing as a what seems like defensive left midfielder. He’s only 22. For apparently €30m I can see why we may be interested.
But I’m also kinda fed up of us tip toeing around these signings at LB, trying to find the bargain for 20-30m (Baba and Emerson) that could end up good enough . Ideally we could just go out and get an objectively, proper, good LB that we can would expect to fit in seamlessly as a starter.
So, I watched Interstellar again. Again, not the masterpiece others seem to find it but its enjoyable for a blockbuster. Parts of it I like a lot. Others not so much (Matt Damon part). Overall its of course a higher quality than most others who attempt something similar. Also feel it gets a bit muddled at the end with its explanations. But solid movie.

Same. We have a habit of getting overly cute with the LB's. Just get one of Telles or Grimaldo & be done with it.
Also with the being cute via LB's, we missed Robertson how?

I've heard he's rather suspect defensively as a fullback - a lot of people argue he's a lot better as a winger in a 442.
I've also heard from Barcelona fans that Grimaldo was/is superior. He does have issues with injuries hence why he's not really been linked with too many teams.
But talent wise he is superior to every other LB we have been linked with.

The stuff I enjoy most on the film is the use of time dilation and general relativity within the plot.
Special effects are amazing too but the story is fairly average - particular with the stuff which is happening on earth.

public wannabe police are the worst kind of people man, hope i overhear something like this so i can shove their mask down their fkin throat
About time we heard something from you regarding this. Been silent for so long.
i've been trying to get onboard with it been in 4 shops and worn a t-shirt face covering in all 4
sick of it now though, fed up of seeing all these poor disabled and autistic people getting abused, and other people who either find it distressing or sexual abuse victims just because they don't or can't want to wear a pointless bit of cloth round their mouth that does absolutely fack all whatsoever, it's ridiculous
Co-Op staff also reported over 1,000 more abuse complaints last week .
Governments made them mandatory for 6 months so i imagine either the public will have to grow some common sense and just stop wearing them so it collapses anyway or the government do an early review after realising what mongs they are

I've been without home broadband since Friday July 17th lol. Some external fault somewhere that Open Reach keep saying they're going to fix but never do. 12 days and counting lol
Fortunately two of our last three games in that time have been on terrestrial TV
