Newcastle really miss Hendricks and Wilson, both fundamental, was always going to struggle

The Jorg-Kov pivot has been been FARRRRR the biggest difference with Tuchel. Both have control of the midfield now.

Still reading back. But I hope you guys have been praising Alonso today. Set up Mount and Werner for 2 brilliant chances. Even for the Werner assist he made a good run pulling the defender in.

Picked Werner last week and made him captain and that worked out well.

Worked outt well tonight too, although not my captain this week.

Yup, I think having the extra man in defence gives us the defensive solidity we'd usually miss with those two in midfield. Gives them license to pass/carry the ball higher up the field too.

I’d even go as far as to say for longetivity that I rate Ramires above Essien in our all time lists. Essien does get over rated, great player and was a beast for a few years and sadly knee injuries ended him

Awful player in the truest sense but was a great asset. Fantastic runs from deep. Always worked hard and had an eye for goal
