I genuinely thought you was being sarcastic! Apologies. I don’t think this is a case of disagreeing then if you see if this way. It was a horrible decision to lay it off when cho was 10-12 yards out with nobody in front of him.

Are you getting mixed up with a different move? I’m talking about when cho cut in on his left and was about 12 yards out in line with the post. He then played it out the box.

Maybe you are thinking of when he got the ball second half on the right and cut it back to kovacic who scooped it over the bar?

Might have to be a double screen for the CL tonight, both matches look good

Even the women’s team is facing Atletico in the CL

Both PSG and Barca have injuries so not sure it’ll be a high quality game tonight

Could say the same for Liverpool, though that’ll probably make the Liverpool game more exciting if their defence is vulnerable.

I thought Werner scooped the ball over the bar from a Kovacic pass? That was also the right pass.

Yeah thst happened too. But cho got a bouncing ball second half and cut it back to kovacic. Kovacic should have done better

On CHO I definitely mean first half, when he cut inside on his left foot - I think laying it off to a player in a central position was the better option.

Ah that one, I remember it too. I think CHO was right to pass but a combination of hitting a bit of a bobbler and Kovacic not having composure in front of goal resulted in a wasted opportunity.

I am not saying I would have gone mad if he had shot, merely I thought the pass made more sense. If he had teed it off to Mount who put it away or even just hit the target, we'd probably be saying 'Smart pass by CHO there'.

In same way Azpilicueta's goal vs Burnley, if CHO had messed up the pass or Azpi had hit in row Z people would be saying 'Why didn't he shoot?'.

I don’t think there’s an option for the shoot for kovacic by that point though, cho brings all the defenders with him after the angle to shoot was closed, a touch or two after he should have shot. By the time kovacic got it and shot there was too many bodies in the way. Was poor play from cho
