One of the most annoying parts of our play is the fact that nearly every time we get in a dangerous position inside the box, instead of looking up and picking out a player who might have an easy finish, we just blast it aimlessly across and it goes straight to a defender.

I’m pretty sure CHO, Mount and James all did it at least once each today.

Good, about time 1st team players get some accountability for sh** performances. I am all for hoofing off players / subs for below average effort and leaving them out for a spell if required.

The fact that Ziyech didn't play well shouldn't hide the fact that CHO was shlt again. I dont have an issue with subbing him off. I do have issue with leaving a worse Alonso on though.

How can these players flourish in other leagues, & be so ineffective in the Prem, all three of these players should be doing something akin to what Fernandes is doing (on his own) at Utd....

Think the club need to have a pause and a rethink as to what our transfer policy is going to be going forward, ie which type of player we're going to identify and from what league etc. And/or if we're going to concentrate on trying to bring through academy players given the success we've had with it under Lamps.

Something isn't right with our transfer policy and those who are making the decisions need to be looked at here to see if they're really the most qualified for the job.

What success under lamps? Our success is only relative to the fack that we expected nothing his first season and others around us collapsing. This season was awful.

He will but we have an incredible academy that has finally started to produce players for our squad. Maybe this is the direction we should go in instead of these totally hit and miss big money transfers that we're not particularly good at. Just a thought.

CHO was poor but we have this weird knack of looking much better in attack when he plays. Mostly because he knows when to attack space in behind and when to stretch play by staying wide. Unfortunately, he was awful on the ball today - hopefully this substitution gives him the kick up the butt to start being more efficient with his chances.

Ziyech was the wrong sub. If anything, bring on Giroud so we have a focal point in attack. Ziyech was never going to offer much - especially considering the poor form he's been in.

Problem is there is little sign of them adapting. We're well into the season now, only a couple of months left. We need to see something from them. This is the worry. Think some big decisions are going to need to be taken in terms of which of them stay and go this summer.
