Fack me Nick has it bad against Werner. All new players from abroad deserve a season to come to grips with the culture, land, league, new manager(s), awful food, etc. You've gone after Werner from like his 2nd match and you're out for blood. Even when he's done well you've dug in. Absolutely he's in a awful run of bad finishing but like Biggish has pointed out, he's done more than that and has done it well more than a couple of times.

I also dont see whats wrong with hoping a player will come good and praising the positives they do instead of laughing at them or insulting them every match. Thats just me I guess.

I'm sure we would all of Werner to come good... However we were noticeably better yesterday without him, but that was a lot down to havertz and pulisic finally turning up

Plus Palace being complete dog shizzle...and Zaha just being a general-purpose bltch all game

Yeah 100% sheriff, I’ve been no more or less critical of Werner. Mentioned his workrate, great off the ball runs. But rtm here has backed up my original gag where I said he was in tears over us playing well without him.

He’s thrown his toys out because he loved Werner so much.

I’ve been very upset the last few weeks that Werner hasn’t got a goal to top off some of our wins. Rtm will have nothing to back up anything he said. It was obnoxious and untrue but because he’s got this hard on for Werner he’s thrown his toys out.

We want all our players to come good. Not just Werner,

Re:palace being bad it’s hard to judge because we were so good from the off they didn’t have time to breathe. Not saying they’re great but they are a team we have struggled with over the years with us starting flat

Fair.... I was astounded we were so good yesterday... Palace are the classic sort of team we struggle against

It'll be interesting to see what Rodgers has to say at the end of this game... He has every right to be livid
