I don't want to watch the game when I get home...but I probably will
RtM don’t put yourself through it, you’re better off just having the result annoy you rather than the whole match as well
When u do watch it have a look at the foul by Gabriel on havertz second half and let me know why it wasn’t a pen

I don't have a choice man. Its just a thing that has to happen.
So Kante was rested because he has ongoing achilles pain, and with Kova out,TT didn't want to risk Kante.
His interview on Chelsea TV very different to the one on SKY
A Gooner saying Kepa should've got a red for stopping a goalscoring opportunity on the back pass. I would've thought a yellow would've been given had they not scored. Commentator said play would've been brought back for a freekick on 6 yard line. I've not seen a free kick inside the area since they made them all penalties. Any refs/clued up peeps on here?

Oh god if we lose Kante for these remaining games it’s over

In theory it should be a red for stopping a goal scoring chance, if the ref didn’t play advantage.
But back passes in general aren’t subject to that rule for whatever reason. The City keeper picked it up against us when Frank was in charge and it was just an indirect foul I believe.
In the second half it’s not like Jorginho really did anything either. Didn’t give Arsenal any gifts but was just a bit meh. So may as well kept Gilmour on who was actually looking promising near the end of the first half, passing it nicely in the build up.
Took my first covid test today. It was pretty uncomfortable sticking the swap up the nose. Made me cry

Maybe it’s a yellow in those situations at most
Chelsea have conceded 26 goals in 19 Premier League games when Antonio Rüdiger hasn’t started this season (1.4 per game), compared to just 7 conceded in the 17 games when the German has started (0.4 per game).
Big Toni
I think we missed his attacking threat on the ball today
Arsenal were happy to let Zouma have the ball in their half instead
YOU ABSOLUTE D'CKHEADS CHELSEA
given your mood, I'm guessing the date didn't end as well as it could have
one odd thing from TT's interview is he talks about the team not being as intense today. Normally I'd attribute that to fatigue, but he said tiredness couldn't have been the issue because he made so many changes to the team today.
Seems more like the players just weren't as up for it as they have been for other games. Maybe they thought this was the game to take the foot off the pedal a bit.
But when you're playing at this level, you can't do that. Need to be fully switched on. It's not that they weren't trying, but felt like they could've upped the intensity.

For me it wasn’t a 50/50 decision. Gilmour was playing better and didn’t make a joke of a back pass causing a goal. Should have stayed on, basically punished for Jorginho’s mistake while Jorginho stays on, nah not having it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a misunderstanding between Kepa and Jorginho. That does not happen with Mendy in goal. Not sure why the feck we had to rotate the GK’s. That’s also on TT.
I think Zouma didn't help by passing to Jorginho in that position when he had like 3 players closing him down. But with Zouma I guess you accept he's not the best on the ball.

For Leicester, a draw against us is now a good result. If we had won today, or even drawn, they probably would have felt a greater need to go for a win.
But I think it suits them and doesn't suit us if they're happy to defend and hold on.
