Don’t think we can blame jorgino having a personal stinker on the decision to play them both together tbh. We still dominated the midfield, and gilmour was playing well.

Gilmour is basically mini Jorginho. I think he will be a very good player - albeit not the one some people want him to be - but Biggish is right the combination would not benefit the team mich in the context of yesterday’s game.

I think he will be a better passer than Jorghino. Maybe already is,?but Jorghi has the experience and nous.

Nobody denies the partnership didn't work...both too similar...but why take off the player that was playing well for the one who clearly wasn't

And given Arsenal were bus parking... Billy's passing was most likely to hear fruit...

Jorginho was crap yesterday, Kova is badly missed

It’s not woe is Gilmour, people just think he should have stayed on.

He was playing better, he didn’t hand them a goal, and we lost the game anyway so he might as well have stayed on to give Jorginho another bit of rest.

And as I have tried to point out, the decision to substitute a player is based on more than individual performance. Gilmour was in the more attacking role.He would have had to play a different role had Jorghi gone off. One TT maybe be less comfortable with Gilmour playing.
