Sure popular songs may have more of a "ooh that was cool listen to me again" appeal but they'll likely get old fast. You should really open yourself up to more than the most popular. Theyre very very VERY often not the best songs the artists have to offer.

You misread what I said.
I didn’t say popular songs are the best. Of course they’re not always.

I said that if you’re completely unfamiliar with an artist and unsure if they’re worth your time or not, then if you try out their biggest songs, you’ll know whether or not you like them. There’s not a single artist where that test hasn’t worked for me.

And then if you like them, then you can dig deeper into everything else. But it’s really inefficient to listen to multiple albums straight away before you know that you’ll even like one song.

This is Led Zeppelin we are talking about though. Not some obscure band of a tiny trend. They're a legendary band. I dont have any doubts that Forza would be able to find a song he likes by going in chronological order. It more like he will find something in every song and I wonder which song he will like best.

It's completely worth going through every album in order and dedicating hours of your time for them. I have zero doubts.

I get what you said. But in my personal experience this is nearly always the best case for getting into bands I may have missed from the start. It allows me to get a better feel for what a band is doing and where they are going. It also makes later albums that much more impressive IF they happen to grow and get better from where they started.

Yeah they've been in close physical contact for 90 minutes of the game but because they talked after the game probably at a further distance from each other than for many parts of the game then they have to isolate. Surely everyone from the game needs to isolate now. It makes zero sense.

Ah so you’re saying the deep dive from the start should work if it’s a well known/legendary artist where you’re pretty sure you’ll like at least something.

But for most other artists you can probably tell from just a few songs if they’re worth your time or not.

I think that’s a fair compromise
