For me Walker over James is more worthy of debate. Walker on his day, like in the CL final can be amazing,but I think he has been pretty meh in the Euros.

Southgate said in his post match that he left him out. He specifically named him and the two other players.

Southgate could have recited the alphabet backwards with his dk out for all I care Biggish, Chilwell was on the bench and so could have been subbed on for Shaw instead of Trippier.

He said last night how hard it was to leave out Chilwell, Coady and Ramsdale and then it looks like he left out Sakha, White and James.

I guess he prefers Trippier more defensively. He is not the only manager to play a right footed FB at LB. I mean it makes sense tactically because Yamalenko is looking to cut in onto his left foot. Maybe that was why.

I think its a reference to those being the players who have had 0 minutes biggish

Mount has played so many games this season that match fitness can not seriously be questioned.

However, he certainly maybe fatigued. I think he may have been struggling a little in the heat last night.

But, it was never going to be his sort of match agst Ukraine. I think he will flourish agst Denmark and Italy back in cold and damp Wembley

I would go with the same line up agst Denmark with the possible exception of Walker.

Mount is by far England's best all round AM player and if much more effective starting games than impacting them from the bench. He is players that can set the tone and tempo for teams right from kick off.


Grealish and the other w nkfest You Tube show pony players are more effective as impact subs.

Grealish reminds me of Beckham so much though just a game changer and has that “don’t give a fack” mentality where he doesn’t get overwhelmed or nervous in a pressurised environment or big game
