Yup, the Kante sub was exactly what we needed. Spurs were getting far too much joy in the middle. Putting an extra man in midfield basically shut them out

We've matched Liverpool's result again as well Neck and neck after 5 matches.
Anfield, Emirates and 3 Point Lane out of the way and top of the league
I said Kante should've come on during the first half
Though I'd never have played Jorg-Kante-Kova together, so I'm calling that half a personal win
I thought the negative team selection would feck us but we controlled that game superbly in the 2nd half. TT
I really do think Werner, despite his useless finishing, has genuine utility as a forward.

As a sub to run at tired defenders is probably what his role should be in our squad this season.
