Good half

Not to dissimilar to the Spurs match really. Expect us to be on the front foot in the second half.

Got three cms who can’t really break between the lines. Kovacic also poorest he’s been in a long whole

Yeah I don't think it was as bad as some are suggesting. We can help ourselves a lot by one or two subs. Alonso needs to come off. Possibly Havertz on for someone.... not sure if leave Jorginho on either.

Alonso so weak under their press. I see the classic myth about him ‘he’s so good technically, he’s just slow’ has started coming again, as always, I just don’t see it.

I would like to see more ball hit into space behind the defence, Werner will chase them all day long and it gives Alonso a chance to catch up with play if he can hold it up for 15minutes.

I do often wonder what some of you watch sometimes. City have been on the ball the whole game. It's funny when people say " Chelsea were so bad" and it's like no our opponent has been very good, closing down the ball very quickly and giving us no space.

I will agree that this midfield is not so great for attacking, and this is were we are going to really miss Mount as he is that guy who can play between the attackers and MF.

But so far very happy with the performance - City look dangerous no doubt, however with all that possession they haven't had a decent chance, which is down to how well we are playing
