Considering the interview was done a few weeks back, I'm guessing the media released it now for maximum damage. I just hope this doesn't kill any momentum Lukaku might've been building up.

Whichever way you cut it, this interview is pretty damaging for Lukaku (and the club). Makes us look like mugs and him a whiny betch who didn't even really want to come to us.
However, fortunately, Tuchel has experience with difficult personalities in the dressing room. As such, I trust him to be professional about this and try to move on as quickly as possible so we can get back to focusing on performances and results. On Lukaku's side, as long as he puts in good performances, I don't care too much where his head is at - though I wont see him as anything more than a merc now. And I wouldn't be surprised if a large chunk of the Chelsea fanbase feels the same.

Yup (re. £150m in Jan) - I think it's easy to forget that the only player Tuchel has "brought in" is Lukaku. The rest of the squad is a mismash from 4 different managers. We need to give him the time (and money) to stamp his own image on the squad. Chopping and changing managers is a big part of why our squad looks like Frankestein's monster.
I agree that we should just suck up the Lukaku comments as long as he keeps playing well on the pitch. We’re kinda desperate.
But it means we’re not going to particularly warm to him now.
I think Tuchel won’t be sacked in the summer unless we finish below 4th.
But even then he might still have enough support given the circumstances. I mean we were first in the league until these injury problems kicked in.
