Yeah Bertrand is past his best now, may as well use Vale or recall Maatsen.
I’m so disappointed in big Rom, ruined all my propaganda for him, oh well

Anthony Taylor showing Alonso how it’s done
According to La Repubblica, Chelsea believe Man City may follow up their interest in Romelu Lukaku, and are the only club who could financially afford him regarding transfer fee and wages.
However, Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia is not in favour of the Belgium striker moving to a Premier League rival.
@DeanJonesSoccer
Lukaku intention wasn’t to start a push for a move away from Chelsea - am told he’s a bit surprised how brutal the fall out has been from the interview. He was advised not to do it for this very reason though.
What was he expecting
ROMELU LUKAKU’S Blues team-mates are thought to be convinced the striker wants a Chelsea exit following his controversial Sky Italia interview
reports claim there is little backing for the striker over his remarks from his Blues colleagues, who are due to face Tottenham in a League Cup semis duel on Wednesday.
The Athletic reports claims that none of the players were 'sticking up for Lukaku' and were said to be surprised by his outburst.
And it is thought Thomas Tuchel’s handling of the situation has been backed by the team.

We're a fackin club car crash at the minute
I'm so so disappointed with Lukaku I have to say...he's just got back to fitness, & scoring again...then he has to go all out complete tiit on us....
That said I think TT is going to either freeze him out completely, or eat a bit of humble pie & utilise our best striking option whilst we still have him
Failing that...we find a suitable replacement this month....& that aint going to fall into our laps...is it
Can we at least make enquiries at Watford for Dennis...

Let's be brutally honest, we usually are the season following any PL or CL title win. Fortunately this time round we have a brilliant manager who just might be able to pull us through this strange and difficult time.
I still don’t know why we thought it was a good idea to spend £100M on him. And that was when we thought he would at least be committed to Chelsea. Now it’s clear he thinks waaaaaay too much of himself. I’d sell him now for £60-70M if we then reinvested in a team player. The way we play under Tuchel - there’s no room for divas. We don’t carry players. Our best player, Kante, works harder than anyone else. That’s why I prefer Werner or Havertz over Lukaku - they are totally committed to the team, and they work their socks off. Lukaku obviously puts himself ahead of the team - he can go back to Inter now.
By the way, who were the “senior players” that Tuchel listened to before making his decision to drop Lukaku?

Kepa and Alonso
Malang Sarr was most vocal I hear.
Jokes aside i hope Silva had a word
"Noticeably Tuchel appears to have the backing of the squad for how he dealt with Lukaku. He decided to confer with five or six senior players before making a final decision to omit Lukaku from the Liverpool game. It is believed that Jorginho, Cesar Azpilicueta, N’Golo Kante and Antonio Rudiger were among those consulted."
From the athletic.
Tbf to rudiger, if he’s leaving he’s gone about it the right way. Kept playing well and playing hard
