Conte sh’tting all over Spurs in comparison to Chelsea here, actual tears in my eyes. This will make Spurs fans extra miserable on top of what their team just did
Yeh not gonna lie I’m buzzing Kepa’s our keeper. Never thought I’d say that again
Mendy’s been better lately but poor for a few months overall

Love it. Saying how great we are and that Spurs are not even close in comparison hahahaha
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, speaking to Sky Sports: “It seems like a deserved win, an excellent result because it reflects the game, we could have scored more but it is hard to score against Tottenham.
"We did create a lot, some huge chances, it could hve been possible to score more, the up side is everybody knows it is going to be a tough match, it is not decided yet.
“It was impressive, it is easy to say fresh legs but if you have not played a lot it is sometimes unfair to put them in a big match like this and demand to see fresh legs.
"We never lost the foucs, never lost the commitment. The guys who did not play in the past few weeks were strong.
“We played 4-4-2 when we had the ball, because there was no one left to play with a back five. We took some minutes on the training pitch to talk through the princioples, I found the team very focused to do it right.
"We had some moments in defending where we created a back five, the team was very focused, very open minded."
Antonio Conte:
"If you compare the two teams, there is no comparison. They are a team ready to win. Today we have seen the difference between the two teams."
lol.
Conte wants Levy to fork out some cash.
Valid argument on low vaccination globally, especially developing nations, as they are left to the mercy of COVID.
Even in UK, France, USA, millions of over 40's refuse jabs, so it is losing battle somewhat, if a collective society spirit is missing, but then, freedom of choice too.
Blaady minefield, mate.

Fair, and I do look at India and now South Africa and think wtf as they’ve got super low vaccination numbers and were the origins of Delta and Omicron yet their waves were quick fast and are seemingly over and lasted nowhere near as long as ours yet we have 90% vaccinated. So was that because they just let it burn through got the immunity naturally and are now fine and don’t even need the vaccines seemingly
But then you look at Russia with super low rates and they’ve had high 500-1500 deaths day after day month after month.
Very weird, guess the weather in India and SA must play a part. Just doesn’t seem fair we can have so many people vaccinated yet still get longer waves than the damn origin places
Don Conte is still talking. They are much better than us hahahaha

BREAKING: HAVERTZ FINGER BREAK
Thomas Tuchel also says Kai Havertz broke his finger in the first half, but played on until the interval.
———-
I’ll play devil... does it matter? He’s not in goal
Leave Covid Kai alone, he's fragile
Surprised his fingers can break, I thought they were sort of floppy
Probably be out for 3 months
Thinks he needs fingers to play up front
Newcastle United have offered Everton £22.5m plus Sean Longstaff for Lucas Digne.
Can't compete with the force of Newcastle
It's going to be fun watching Newcastle put in these banter bids for players

Nothing fair about COVID...in SA the average age is about 27, whereas, UK is much older, maybe Russia too, so may explain difference in hospital and death rates, but as you allude to, it is weird and a lottery which nations have high mortality rates.
That said, poorer nations and China, Russia etc might not have or give honest figures.

Fair, think I had Omicron last week had all the symptoms. Muscle aches fatigue night sweats bit of a sneeze loss of appetite
Think I had Delta in October, knocked me for six for 2-3 weeks coughing breathing sleep. Didn’t lose smell or taste though
Went for a Chinese with 14 people on Xmas eve, then 2-3 days later everything started and at that point they estimated 1 in 10 in London had Omicron so imagining I got it there as few other people I went with was also ill with similar symptoms for 4-5 days like me
I had a cough for a week near the end of December, recovered 90% and now I’m coughing again when I talk. But tested negative throughout
A bit awkward with zoom calls at work, coughing while talking into the mic lol
