I am just going to be blunt Biggish, I don't like watching us currently.

I don't like Mount turning into a ghost.
I don't like Havertz being bullied by second-rate defenders.
I don't like golden boy Reece failing to beat first man with every corner.
I don't like Jorginho being bested to every second ball in midfield.

All of which happens in the context of a stodgy team that barely creates a chance all game.

Prior to the goal, Everton's header was the closet to scoring.

I love your optimism my friend but we have been sheet and I don't see a change of last season

The build up play is slow

Stuff in the final 3rd is painful

Our WBs are still on holiday with Mount

I don't especially care either way about Liverpool or City.

They smash way more teams than us and give their fans a lot more joy.

We have been turgid for about 9 months.

Sterling should’ve had a penalty early on. They’re lucky not to be down 2 goals.

Only positive is our defence looks at least a bit more solid than at the end

We sustain possession as well as pool and City, but they do far more with it.

A lot of our chances have ended in crosses

But due to the formations it’s Havertz vs 3 CBs. Unsurprisingly those crosses lead to nothing

I think we havebeen OK against a well organised defensive team infarct game of the season.

Lampard couldn't organise a team to save his job - hence his sacking - but we never stopped having actual chances in games.
