Whatever your views on Gallagher, it would be reckless to sell him until we have nailed down 5he signing of two additional midfield players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think nailed down who we can buy, I don't think they need to be through the door though.
Caicedo doesn't count, as we seemingly can't buy him lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Imagine Brighton's negotiating position on Caicedo if we did sell Gallagher
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeah, and everyone elses. No way can we sell him before we buy.

Does anyone know anything about Kudus?
I will be honest enough to say i only know him through the transfer rumour mill - apparently he is an attacking midfielder...
but does this mean centrally or on the wings?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can play as a no 10 or on the RW. Believe he's left footed.
Haven't seen much of him tbh. As long as he's not like the other no 10/RW we bought from Ajax lol.
Chelsea are set to make a bid of £13 million for Fulham Centre back Tosin Adarabioyo, as they look at targets to replace Wesley Fofana.
The club retain an interest in former player Marc Guehi, however Crystal Palace are thought to value him at over £50 million.
🚨 Southampton have turned down opening offer from Liverpool for Romeo Lavia. #LFC proposal - thought to be worth around £37m - rejected by #SaintsFC as they seek fee in region of £50m. Personal terms for 19yo Belgium midfielder not an issue @TheAthleticFC

Should be asking for half of Rice's fee at a minimum.
Still not thrilled about this though. Have to assume we have a midfielder lined up that isn't Caicedo or we are going to be ridiculously thin.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
£40m for Gallagher is a kerching moment frankly, utter waste of space.
The fact we don't seem to have any alternatives to Caicedo isn't an excuse to keep dead wood.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
would love to know what you've seen to suggest that.
Sound like those african fans on twitter.
Guy was very very good for palace, came back last year and was in and out of a shoddy team and still showed more than sterling, havertz and even mount towards the end.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We aren't going to agree, so what's the point in arguing.
Technically limited player in my view who'd never be a starter for us - certainly not as a CL team.
Maybe he proves me wrong, we'll see.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The thing is there's nothing to agree yet. We haven't seen enough of him to pass judgement yet.
Football Insider -
Chelsea are close to agreeing personal terms with Mohammed Kudus as they put the finishing touches to what will be a marquee signing, sources have told Football Insider.
The fee for the 22-year-old is believed to have been settled at £40million and Kudus is keen to join the Blues this summer.

lets do it. same pl experience as caicedo but younger
So we’ve agreed personal terms with Kudus, Cherki, Olise and Veiga? And they are each available for £35-40M? Are we going to actually buy one of them then? All of them? I guess I don’t understand what we do behind the scenes, but everything seems to take an age with us. Some clubs find a player they want, and buy them. Deal done. We seem to chat about it a lot, negotiate, think about it, wait a bit longer, and then panic buy at the last minute.
Agreeing personal terms in principle means nothing
Each of those player will have agree personal terms with multiple clubs n Chelsea will have agree personal terms with many other players

That's because once we agree the deal with the player we can then discuss it with the club and if they demand too much we move on to another player

Yes, I think the full quote was “after the nightmare year he experienced at Chelsea, after the nightmare year he experienced at Barcelona, after the nightmare year he experienced at Arsenal.”
Talks still ongoing between Trev and Inter apparently. Another reason we are looking at that CB from Fulham

No chance inter will offer enough for Trev.
