And just on Gallagher,he does get somestick on here, maybe cause expectations were high. However, I think that performance agst Liverpool showed how crucial a squad player he is and that he is made of the right stuff and I think it would be a mistake to sell him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like most our players who are in and out the team, they get unfairly judged. A player really needs a run to show if they are good enough or not
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Officially how long is "a run"

I think 10 games of some minutes, mostly stats is usually quite indicative. Similar to a player coming back from injury. That’s not always achievable I know, but for example fofana last year should have had a run of 10 games where he came on early, started some games and was used more.

Tbh I am prepared to give all our ayers <except Cucarella > a pass for last season. I think the coaching was such a mess and the number of players brought in it made life very tough

Some good games today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
City v Newcastle could be a decent watch. However United bore the pa to off me,so not sure if I will watch Spurs v United
Inter-Monza shud b good 2
Go on Bournemouth
Fancied them to win
Turns out Pacqueta was spot fixing, oh dear. Amir went to jail for that.
Brighton look like they'll be in and around the European places this year again despite losing their 2 best midfielders
Mitoma will go for a £100m next.

Good for him. Needs mins and room to grow.
Going after Yeremy Pino again apparently from Villareal, can play on both wings. We were heavily linked to him in January as well
See Mendy still can't kick to save his life

Who does he play for now?
Mount in such a deep midfield position, can't imagine he likes playing there
Speaking of Mendy, how good in Onana with his feet

Was just coming to say this: was gonna be something "I would say I feel bad for mount, but seeing him here watching the game pass by him and way down the peaking order just making up numbers honestly makes me feel pretty damned smug "
Seriously him and big nose can forever feck off to the highest degree
Yeah, I don't feel sorry for him, I am morbidlyc curious to see how he and Havertz do though and interested how other managers choose to use them,
As you say, first half Mount was a spectator
I'm exactly the same
I will maintain that Kai is a good player, just not a prem player (his best games while he was at Chelsea were for Germany), and would love to have some of the drugs the arsenal scouts were taking to see what they saw - for me he will forever be the 70/30 man, the guy who would pull out of a challenge if there was a possibility it would mess his hair up, or give up on a ball he would make if he just put in some energy.
Mount the whole "Chelsea don't want me" just rubbed me the wrong way.
I will happily cheer on Kova et Al for their teams and hope they do well
I think Mount's exit was handled poorly from all sides - but otherwise I have moved on.
